Design of Accelerator Vacuum Monitoring System Based on Virtual Commissioning Technology

  • The accelerator vacuum monitoring system is a critical subsystem within the accelerator control system and plays a vital role in maintaining the normal operation of the accelerator. The design, development and implementation process of traditional large-scale control systems heavily relies on physical entities. As a result, functional testing and performance verification of the entire system are concentrated in the later stages of the project, leading to a longer development cycle, higher risks, and a compressed timeline for on-site commissioning. To address these challenges, industrial virtual debugging and virtualization technologies were introduced, and a comprehensive virtual simulation debugging platform for the accelerator vacuum monitoring system was established. Parallel collaborative development of the system began in the early stages, incorporating full-level virtualization debugging and logical pre-execution. Ultimately, the results of the debugging were applied to the site through on-site configuration, significantly reducing the on-site debugging time, minimizing equipment wear and debugging risks, and enhancing the efficiency of project implementation and the reliability of engineering design.
