Systematic calculations on proton radioactivity halflives of both spherical and deformed nuclei are carried out. A new formula with only four parameters is proposed for proton radioactivity halflives. The halflives calculated by using the new formula are in good agreement with the experimental ones. The new formula is simple but accurate, which is very useful for further experiments.
