Abstract

Microdosimetry is a rapidly developing field in the multi-disciplines. It studies energydeposition processes in media with particular interesting to living system. This paper gives short reviewon the recent progress in the study of microdosimetry including the track structure of ionzing particlesenergy deposition and new microdosimetric experimental techniques.
