Abstract
非晶态合金也称之为金属玻璃。采用这个有点矛盾的名称,是因为它们在微观上具有类似于玻璃的无规则排列的原子结构,而在宏观上又具有良好的机械强度和光泽等金属特性。非晶态合金通常是熔融状态的金属或合金通过高冷却速率的淬火而制成。在这一淬火过程中冷却速率大于晶核形成和生长的速度,使它们来不及结晶便凝固,而继续保留了类似液体的结构。
