今年三月在Munich 附近的Garching,来自不同领域的物理学家们会聚一堂,再次认真考察物理学的两个前沿:非常大的和无限小的系统的物理学。有关宇宙学、天体学和基础物理学的Garching 讨论会,是CERN 和ESO 共同组织的。它是1983年11月在CERN 首创的系列会议的第二次。粒子物理学的目标在于研究探索物质的最小组分和弄懂它们怎样相互作用。
