Abstract:
High-spin states of the
107Ag nucleus were populated using the heavy-ion fusion-evaporation reaction
100Mo(
11B, 4n)
107Ag, with a
11B beam energy of 46 MeV. The level scheme of
107Ag was extended, revealing six new levels and eleven new γ transitions associated with band 2, confirming the bandhead 27/2
+ of band 2. Through the analysis of spin-related properties such as excitation energy, alignment, signature splitting and B(M1)/B(E2) ratios, as well as a comparative analysis with the band structure of neighboring
111In, it is suggested that band 2 of
107Ag is a magnetic rotational band with the configuration \pi g_9/2\otimes\nu h_11/2^2(d_5/2/g_7/2)^2.
